BORNEO ASPHALT SDN BHD (BASB)

BASB is a Joint Venture Company between Senari Synergy Sdn Bhd, a Sarawak state-owned company and Kemaman Bitumen Company Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned company by TIPCO Asphalt Public Limited Company, Thailand and located at Lot 1222 Senari Synergy Industrial Complex (SSIC).

Relying on the expertise of its shareholders', Borneo Asphalt is set up to carry out the business of receiving, storing, trading and distributing bitumen and its related products in the Island of Borneo, particularly in Sarawak.

Currently, the Depot consists of 2 bitumen storage tanks:

• Main Tank, TK101 (Max Capacity: 4000mt) and

• Daily Tank, TK201 (Max Capacity: 300mt)

to handle storage of Malaysian Made Bitumen Penetration Grade 60/70.

Our current storage facility has the capability for product distribution to premix plants in Kuching and Sarawak Southern Region for road maintenance and others government road project including Pan Borneo Highway Project, Coastal Highway Project and Second Trunk Road Project.
